Just a quick word about last night, the book launch. It was an incredible success….about 40 people came to the Medicine Wheel in Byron Bay, a really cool bookshop. Three worlds opened up with a beautiful performance of didgeridoo and vocals and finished with some drumming. All the yummy vegan food was gobbled up very quickly, leek and broccoli aranchine, roasted vegetable tartlets, hash browns with beetroot jam and rocket; and an array of yummy dips with dipping bits and pieces. A lovely blend of organic juice and rosewater with mineral water was the drink of the night. Thanks to local company ‘organic passion catering’ for the recipes.

Thanks to all the amazing people who came, a special mention to my mum and dad from Sydney, and a big surprise, John the farmer from Chapter 12 of the book. He saw it advertised and came along :) It was great to catch up and have a hug. There was a half page spread about the book launch on the back page of the local paper with a big picture.

The success was due to quite a few beautiful activist friends pulling all of this together. I love when we all work together to do good stuff for this planet, a huge thank you.
Thanks to Liz Bowie for joining me on this journey as editor, Elizabeth Usher as proofreader and Karen Vincent as designer – loved working with you all!

This girl is going to chill out for a couple of days in nature. Will start sending books Tuesday. Have a lovely Sunday :) Jodi xo
